One of the celebrated booklets produced annually by Guinness as gifts to the medical profession at Christmas (although, interestingly, the target audience… is nowhere acknowledged). Dating from the era when Guinness's stout was regarded as a prescribable medication, most notably for pregnant women and new mothers. Highly collectable, largely due to the eminence of the illustrators, in this case John Nash. An excellent copy, with the illustrated compliments card. Fine. John Nash (illustrator).
