Encuadernación: Rústica Colección: Biblioteca Solano López Publicada originalmente en 1976 dentro de las páginas de la mítica revista argentina Skorpio, Slot Barr supuso el inicio de la carrera profesional de su guionista, Ricardo Barreiro, y el lanzamiento en Europa de su dibujante, Francisco Solano López, el creador gráfico de El Eternauta. Una obra de ciencia- ficción, a la par clásica y moderna, y cargada de una fuerte componente de crítica social, se nos acerca ahora en una edición integral en dos tomos. 001 Ediciones pone en marcha con la edición de Slot Barr una colección en la que presentará obras cumbres de la historieta argentina. La carrera de Solano López comienza en 1953, donde trabaja en la Editorial Columba con el guionista Roger Plá para realizar Perico y Guillermina. Su dupla con el guionista Héctor Germán Oesterheld comienza en 1955. En la editorial Oesterheld se ponía de acuerdo con los dibujantes acerca de las historietas en las que trabajaban. Solano López pidió trabajar en una serie de ciencia ficción: El Eternauta. En 1976 comenzó también a colaborar con Ricardo Barreiro, con quien produjo Slot Barr. El clima político del país lo hace emigrar a España, en donde produce Ana e Historias Tristes. Durante el 2001 vuelve a retomar El Eternauta, esta vez con una historia más ambiciosa. Omitiendo por completo la continuación de la segunda parte, se sitúa 40 años en el futuro en un Buenos Aires reconstruído por los invasores, donde masivos lavados cerebrales a los sobrevivientes hicieron a la gente creer que la llegada fue pacífica, y sólo unos pocos resistentes conocen la verdad de la invasión. *** Nota: Los envíos a España peninsular, Baleares y Canarias se realizan a través de mensajería urgente.
