Top, fore and bottom text block edges speckled. Interior of book pristine, unread even, while the light colored jacket (lemon yellow) shows dirt but v. little wear. Birds…that have the good fortune to reside where fruit is plentiful basically do not have to work for a living. That is to say while their unlucky cousins to the north are more or less looking for fruit 24/7/365, those in the tropical zones can barely fly across town without getting bonked on the head with a pound or so of your ripest and sweetest. So. What do the male birds in the tropics have to worry about? Well, they need to have great big colorful plumage, ginormous beaks, crazy colors or some such if they want to be in the game when it comes to the females. Can't be easy to just sit around and try to grow things bigger and more colorful. Life- if it's not one thing it's another.
