Hardcover. First Edition. 6 x 9in. xxv. 313pp.; xviii. 218pp.; xxxii. 189pp.; xxvi. 186pp.; xl. 213pp.; xxvi. 198pp.; xxxiv. 324pp.; xl. 124pp. xxviii. 344pp. Publisher's cloth boards. The first five volumes of the Percy letters were originally published in the 1940s by Louisiana State University Press until the editorship continued the series with Yale University Press, which re-published the prior volumes. The last three volumes under the co-editorship of Falconer were published without dust jackets. Finding a truly complete set is uncommon. All 9 volumes are in NEAR FINE condition in Near Fine dust jackets (where required). The book themselves show just marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, otherwise are Fine/As New. The dust jackets show the occasional hint of shelf rubbing along the edges, are all price-clipped, otherwise remain Fine/As New. The last volume is only Very Good with a light remainder mark at the top text-block edge, a very light remnant of a bookplate at the front endpaper, and a small cancel mark on the copyright page, otherwise remains Fine/As New. As pictured.
