Based on the 1914 Russian play by Leonid Andreyev, first published in English in 1922. The first film put into production under the newly formed Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and the first to feature… Leo the Lion, although it was not the first film released by the studio. The second film directed by Sjostrom, known as "the father of Swedish cinema," after his move to Hollywood at the behest of Louis B. Mayer, and a breakthrough picture for him, as well as stars Chaney, Shearer, and Gilbert. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus.

Fanzinet började utges 1960 och blev snabbt centralt för svensk Science Fiction-fandom. Här medverkade bl.a. Sam J. Lundwall, Jacob Palme, Lars-Olov Strandberg, Christer Landergren, Sven Christer Swahn, och under 1970-talet bl.a. Kjell Alinge, Inger Edelfeldt, liksom en ung Stieg Larsson och hans sambo Eva Gabrielsson, med många flera. I numren 78-81 ingår inte mindre än 18 bidrag av Stieg Larsson.
