Zur Autorschaft der Schrift schreibt die Bayerische Staatszeitung: "Der Erdinger Agrarreformer und Volksaufklärer Simon Rottmanner [.] verfasste 1808 den 'Aufruf an meine Landsleute in Baiern zum häufigern Anbau des Hopfens'. Darin pries er den Hopfen als Fortschrittspflanze und wies auf den sicheren Gewinn hin, wenn die einheimischen Bierbrauer [.] nur mehr inländischen Hopfen verwendeten" (Artikel "Zupfa und net rupfa!" vom 19.09.2014, Online-Ausgabe). B. die Jagd, werden hier im Sinne der Aufklärung und der frz. Revolution als naturrechtswidrig und hinderlich für die Entwicklung der Wirtschaft angeprangert. - Mit Besitzereintrag von Max von Freyberg (1789-1851) aus dem April 1809. Freyberg war Jurist und Historiker und Schwiegersohn des Maximilian von Montgelas. 1825-1847 leitete er das bayerische Reichsarchiv in München. - Einband bestoßen, mit kleinen Flecken auf dem Hinterdeckel und mit kleinem Signaturaufkleber am Rücken.
