A trial was conducted in Yaoundé (Cameroon) using a one-factor Latin square design with three application times of the basal fertilizer (NPK) as treatments: at sowing (T0), at 10 days after emergence (T10) and 20 days after emergence (T20) and three replications. Growth parameters, yield components, material production and yield were evaluated. In Yaoundé (Kamerun) wurde ein Versuch in einer lateinischen Quadratanordnung mit einem Faktor und drei Zeitpunkten für die Anwendung des Grunddüngers (NPK) als Behandlung durchgeführt: bei der Aussaat (T0), am 10. Tag nach dem Auflaufen (T10) und am 20. Tag nach dem Auflaufen (T20) sowie drei Wiederholungen. Es wurden die Wachstumsparameter, die Ertragskomponenten, die Materialproduktion und der Ertrag bewertet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen nicht signifikante Unterschiede bei den Wachstumsparametern und dem Ertrag, aber signifikante Unterschiede bei der Biomasse. Foram avaliados parâmetros de crescimento, componentes de rendimento, produção de material e rendimento. Os resultados obtidos indicam diferenças não significativas para os parâmetros de crescimento e rendimento, mas são detectadas diferenças significativas para a biomassa.
