En los dos primeros niveles abundan los ejercicios encaminados a practicar la Iengua e introducir los Fenómenos gramaticales de int…erés que aparecen en los textos seleccionados. En este tercer libro no hay gramática, porque la principal finalidad es introducir al alumno en un mejor conocimiento de la literatura española e hispanoamericana a través de una cuidada selección de textos, proporcionándole un vocabulario más rico que puede resultarle nuevo o, en todo caso, muy útil para recordar o manejar. Con esta finalidad, se ha confeccionado para cada lectura un Glosario de los términos más difíciles, así como ejercicios de sinónimos y antónimos, dirigidos todos a facilitar la retención de las palabras de la manera más cómoda posible. La comprensión de cada texto se hace con un primer ejercicio. Entrando en situación, mediante algunas preguntas relacionadas con el tema que se va a trabajar. Viene luego otro grupo de preguntas que se han de contestar después de una lectura de comprensión general, Primera lectura o Lectura atenta, a la que sigue, en Para enriquecer el léxico, la comprensión más detallada, no sólo de la riqueza del léxico, sino también del estilo del autor, las metáforas, comparaciones y giros que emplea. En Lectura a fondo se le plantea al alumno una nueva serie de cuestiones sobre el significado del texto y la intención del autor. Por último, en A propósito del texto se dan temas de conversación y redacción relacionados con este. Para evitar las dudas que puedan presentarse en ciertos casos y afirmar el vocabulario, damos al final del libro la clave de algunos ejercicios. Insistimos cn que este nivel Superior no tiene carácter de aprendizaje gramatical, sino que va dirigido a los estudiantes con un nivel adelantado que desecan: a) afirmar sus conocimientos, b) incrementar su dominio del espanol, c) acercarse a algunas de las más sobresalientes figuras de la literatura hispanoamericana. Por todo ello consideramos que este libro puede recomendarse como muy adecuado en cursos universitarios. Finalmente, no podemos dejar de agradecer la ayuda prestada por algunos colegas, especialmente las profesoras A. Gómez y R. Bergner. A. Gómez nos ha señalado errores y nos ha proporcionado ideas y matices sobre el léxico y algunas modificaciones de carácter didáctico, fruto de su larga experiencia en la enseñanza del espanol para extranjeros y de su cabal conocimiento de esta lengua. De la profesora R. Bergner hemos tenido cn cuenta sus valiosos consejos cn la selección de textos y sus sugerencias sobre las palabras y modismos importantes de cada uno de ellos.
