Inscribed on ffep 'For F.B. Houghton/Charles H. Owens/Agathla/Monument Valley/Arizona'. Owens has sketched in orange a scene from Monument Valley across the front pastedown and ffep. Owens' drawings featured in the book were often featured in the Los Angeles Times under the title 'Nuestro Pueblo - Our Town' and Seewerker was a reporter for the Times.
