Otherwise, attractive copy with clean, unmarked pages and solid binding. Dust jacket has heavy wear to edges with several small chips and closed tears, mild discoloration to spine and light toning to back cover. Hardcover. First Edition. Small quarto; xiv; 184, [1]pp. A Very Good copy in publisher's green clothlettered in black, in dust jacket (edgewear, chip at head of faded spine). Inscribed on ffep 'For F.B. Houghton/Charles H. Owens/Agathla/Monument Valley/Arizona'. Owens has sketched in orange a scene from Monument Valley across the front pastedown and ffep. Owens' drawings featured in the book were often featured in the Los Angeles Times under the title 'Nuestro Pueblo - Our Town' and Seewerker was a reporter for the Times.
