This proves that the pronunciation of words is just another type of linguistic variety, a fact that does not prevent communication and understanding of speech between speakers of the same language. The study of these manifestations is a field of linguistics which, by valuing the spoken language, aims to eliminate linguistic prejudice, as it understands that the standard language and the colloquial language are just varieties and not distinct languages or languages of lesser or greater value.
