Para superar esta questão foi sintetizado um novo surfactante à base de aminoácidos dodecanoilalanina (ácido 2-dodecanaamid…opropanóico) e realizada a investigação da alteração da molhabilidade no processo EOR. À medida que a molhabilidade muda para condição molhada, a saturação residual de óleo (Sor) irá reduzir. A alteração da molhabilidade foi medida com base no método do ângulo de contato.
