With the small attractive bookplate on the first blank (the endpapers have an ancient map of Barbados), showing a bookish owl, of ÔOzÕ publisher, later media tycoon, Felix Dennis (1947 -2014) who owned houses in the West Indies. Small label on cover notes: 'The royalties from this book are given to Barbados National Trust.' Ronald Tree (1897 - 1976) had been married to the designer and gardener Nancy Lancaster and also established the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados.
