Disbound. 10 pp. , folio, with 6 fine engraved plates (XXâ"XXV) , viz. : Ground Plan of the vaulted Chamber; Longitudinal Section; Transverse Section; View of the vaulted Chamber; Porch of the Hostelry; and Capitals of the Pillars with a sculptured Fragment found among the Ruins. A detailed antiquarian account of the medieval lodging-house occupied by the Priors of Lewes when in London, situated in St Olave's parish near London Bridge. The six measured architectural drawings by Gage, Director of the Society of Antiquaries, record the building's surviving features before its eventual loss to later development. Henry Petrie, F. S. A. , was Keeper of the Records. The plates are all present, as often lacking from such separata.; 27.4 x 22 cms; 299-308 pages.
