Hardcover. Condition: Fair+. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, reddish-brown blindstamped cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. Exterior shows spotting, mainly loss to the finish. Along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The reason for the low condition grade is because of damage to the lower inside corner of pages starting with the second front end page, which decreases in size to about page 18. None of this affects the readability of the book. The internal binding is good otherwise, no hinge cracks although there is some wiggle to the front board. There are no signatures or bookplates, no library markings etc. The pages are toned due to age and there is scattered foxing and spotting present along with a few random smudge marks.
