Sybille Kramer bietet jedoch in ihrer Studie eine alternat…ive Interpretation, die Searle als Vertreter eines sprachlichen ,Zwei-Welten-Modells" sieht und einen ,autonomen" Sprachbegriff postuliert. In dieser Hinsicht weist seine Theorie mehr Ahnlichkeiten mit strukturalistischen Ansatzen von de Saussure und Chomsky auf als mit traditionellen pragmatischen Theorien. Robert Niemann schlagt in seinem Essay eine abweichende Lesart vor, die Searle in neuem Licht erscheinen lasst. Er untersucht Searles Sprachverstandnis unter Berucksichtigung seiner geistphilosophischen und gesellschaftstheoretischen Uberlegungen. Dabei wird Searles naturwissenschaftlicher Zugang zu Geistphanomenen kritisch betrachtet und die Auswirkungen auf das Sprach- und Gesellschaftsverstandnis hinterfragt. Auf dieser Grundlage wird ein Sprachbegriff entwickelt, der im Kontext eines ,Weltenpluralismus" oder einer ,Weltenkette" betrachtet wird. Searles Sprachbegriff konnte demnach nicht als ,autonom" und ,entkopert" angesehen werden, sondern vielmehr als heteronom, reprasentational und letztlich grundlegend korperorientiert.
