The leather is goatskin from the Alran Tannery in France. The Alran tannery has been producing some of the finest goat leather for over 100 years. The grain has a natural buffed texture similar to suede that adds a beautiful depth to the leather. The European cloth has a uniquely crinkled surface and features a foiled leather label which is inset into the front cover. Head & tail bands are handmade with goatskin and endsheets are Hahnemühle Bugra. The edition is printed on Mohawk Via Laid and is published in two volumes with a tipped in fold-out of the Classic edition dust jacket art. It is housed in a cloth covered clamshell enclosure with velour lined floors and is signed by Robert McCammon & Ed Binkley.
