Cloth hardcover has many tears, especially at corners, edges, and spine along with other stains and discoloration/fading, but remains "intact" as a cover (the considerable damage does not leave it in tatters or no longer functioning). First page has stamps and pencil/pen marks from previous sales. Pages have acid yellowing/browning in margins and occasional foxing elsewhere. Some inserts may be missing.
