Add to basketStapled pictorial covers. Condition: Fine copy. 54 page sf fanzine (Winter, 1962). After the magazine Science Fiction Stories failed the rights to the title were purchased by James V. Taurasi to be used for a fiction fanzine. ''The Original'' was an advertising phrase used on Science Fiction Stories covers and mistaken by Taurasi (and many other sf fans) as part of the name. Three issues were then published 1961-1963, the first just four pages (a trial run?), followed by this issue (Winter, 1962) and another issue (Winter, 1963).…

Issues 211, 212 and 279 have tears to the edges that partially affect text. Some are soiled and the paper is age-toned but, in all, presentable copies of one of the longest running science fiction fanzines, which won a Hugo Award for best fanzine in two of the years here represented, 1955 and 1957.
