Printed on Zerkall Butten watermarked stock in a limited edition of 250 numbered copies. This is copy #139. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Cream end papers. Blue cloth quarter bound with gilt lettering on spine. Title plate tipped to blue decorated covered boards. Touch of shelf wear to tip of tail of spine. No inscriptions. Appears hardly read.

Richards and Eric Ravilious's 1938 classic children's book about shops is here reprinted in full, including all 24 full-page color lithographs. This is followed by two illustrated essays, "The Making of High Street" and "High Street at Seventy" by Powers and Russell, respectively. One of 750 copies. A fresh, as new copy, in a like slipcase.
