This study developed and evaluated the phytochemical profile and antioxidant activity of a vegan facial serum formulated with hydroalcoholic extracts of Mangifera indica and Syzygium cumini and nanoemulsions of essential oils of Syzygium aromaticum, Schinus terebinthifolia and Citrus latifolia. The extracts were obtained by maceration with 70% ethanol and the nanoemulsions by the phase inversion method. The quantification of total phenols and flavonoids was performed by spectrophotometry and the antioxidant activity by the ABTS and DPPH methods. The serum showed high total phenol content (173.09 mg EAG/g) and low concentration of flavonoids (0.21 mg EQ/g), with high antioxidant activity (CI50 ABTS = 0.42 mg/L; DPPH = 2.64 mg/L). The nanoemulsions of S. aromaticum and S. terebinthifolia were also active, while C. latifolia did not show activity. It is concluded that the developed serum has a relevant phytochemical profile and remarkable antioxidant activity, enhanced by nanotechnology, configuring itself as a promising alternative for dermocosmetic application. O soro apresentou um elevado teor de fenois totais (173,09 mg EAG/g) e uma baixa concentracao de flavonoides (0,21 mg EQ/g), com elevada atividade antioxidante (CI50 ABTS = 0,42 mg/L; DPPH = 2,64 mg/L). As nanoemulsoes de S. aromaticum e S. terebinthifolia tambem se revelaram ativas, enquanto a de C. latifolia nao apresentou atividade. Die Quantifizierung der Gesamtphenole und Flavonoide erfolgte spektrophotometrisch, die Bestimmung der antioxidativen Aktivitaet nach den ABTS- und DPPH-Methoden. Das Serum wies einen hohen Gesamtphenolgehalt (173,09 mg EAG/g) und eine geringe Flavonoidkonzentration (0,21 mg EQ/g) auf, bei hoher antioxidativer Aktivitaet (CI50 ABTS = 0,42 mg/L; DPPH = 2,64 mg/L). Die Nanoemulsionen von S. aromaticum und S. terebinthifolia waren ebenfalls aktiv, waehrend C. latifolia keine Aktivitaet zeigte. Daraus laesst sich schliessen, dass das entwickelte Serum ueber ein relevantes phytochemisches Profil und eine bemerkenswerte antioxidative Aktivitaet verfuegt, die durch Nanotechnologie verstaerkt wird, und sich somit als vielversprechende Alternative fuer dermokosmetische Anwendungen darstellt.
