Illustrated throughout with 95 photographs by Peary, a color frontispiece by Albert Operti, and two large folding maps at the rear. CONDITION: Very Good. The binding is tight and square with moderate shelf handling wear and light rubbing to the extremities. The raised decorative stamping remains distinct. The text block is clean with light, even age-toning. Both folding maps are present and intact. Top edge gilt is slightly dulled. A contemporary gift inscription dated 1907 appears on the front free endpaper. The accompanying lecture announcement is Very Good with a faint central vertical fold, now largely flattened from storage, and minor age toning consistent with fragile newsprint.
