Item description from seller

Black cloth on boards with gilt decoration to front and gilt lettering to spine. Mild bumping and rubbing to extremities. Very clean and tidy, and firm, throughout. Illustrated with black and white photographs within the text. The two fold-out maps located at the back of the book are a little creased from poor re-folding, but are intact and, apart from small closed tears at the hinges, are complete. A heavy book, which will incur extra carriage charges for non UK customers.

Store description

I am a small Independent Bookseller with 35 years experience. My main field of interest is Social Military and Maritime History and Mountaineering although I am always on the lookout for the strange and unusual. I have been a member of Abebooks for many years but due to ill health have not been part of the market place for some time. I do however buy from Abebooks on a regular basis on behalf of Bookpoint in Dunoon. I have always been well known for my accurate descriptions and prompt delivery service. If anyone is looking for Maritime or Scottish History please do not hesitate to contact me.…
