Soft cover. Condition: Very Good Plus. 1st Edition. 1992. 28pp. Colour images throughout. "The Presbyterian Church in Ireland is one part of a wider Presbyterian family in this country. In 1990 we were stimulated by the 150th anniversary of the union of the Secession Synod and the Synod of Ulster to find out more about what happened then and to take stock of where we are going now. It is fitting that the 350th Anniversary of the first Presbytery in Carrickfergus in 1642 should be marked by this publication from the Presbyterian Historical Society, which embraces more than one Presbyterian church. . It is clear that events outside the control of the church have affected Presbyterianism as well as Presbyterianism affecting the history of the country.
