Rudolfo Anaya was the founding editior for the first five issues of Blue Mesa Review which began publication in 1989 followed by the current editor David Johnson. Manuscripts were solicited by the Department of English at the University of New Mexico from May 15 to September 30. Simultaneous submissions or previously published material was not accepted. Over 70 articles are included in this sixth issue.
