Rudolfo Anaya was the founding editior for the first five issues of Blue Mesa Review which began publication in 1989 followed by the current editor David Johnson. Manuscripts…were solicited by the Department of English at the University of New Mexico from May 15 to September 30. Simultaneous submissions or previously published material was not accepted. Over 70 articles are included in this sixth issue. Some of the titles in this issue: Tribute to Rudolfo Anaya, T;he Wild West, The Rabbi, The Thief, Mona Lisa Grandma, How Cutting an Orange Almost Saved My Marriage, Pages From An Asian Past, Gypsy Moths, Childhood Memory and more. A section is included for short biographies of the authors. Jeff Potter, Carol Lem, Carl Mayfield, Frank Hernandez, Criss Jay, David Lansing, Karl Tierney, Elaine Romero, Vicent Woodward are just some of the authors.
