Geraldine published the book in 1916, shortly after Joseph was executed at Kilmainham Prison for his role in planning the Easter Uprising as a member of the Irish Republic Brotherhood's military committee. He was allowed to marry his girlfriend, Grace Gifford the evening before his execution. ; frontispiece mirror image of Plunkett's portrait; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; xvi, 95 p. pages.
