Some moderate crumple to the front flyleaves, but does not compromise any text. Vintage note written in French taped to the recto side opposite the title page. Pages are predominantly free from marginalia, except for the name of a previous owner written in ink within the front pastedown, also presumed from the period. All edges have toned as expected. Even as several areas throughout bear light dampstain, and pages hold a slight wave, the leaves have absolutely beautifully and evenly toned with very little foxing or discoloration for being over 350 years old.
