Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners slightly rubbed a…nd bruised, some yellowing to page fore edges, slight lean, spine faded and jacket faded in strips, price clipped, no other inscriptions, internally clean and tight, overall an interesting copy. 170pp. Primo Levi's attempts to understand the rationale behind the concentration camps and his survivor's guilt. Primo Michele Levi (1919-87), was an Italian Jewish chemist, partisan, Holocaust survivor and writer. Levi died in 1987 from injuries sustained in a fall from a third story apartment landing. His death was officially ruled a suicide, but some have suggested that the fall was accidental. His last book, published posthumously. Very scarce with this signature. Jacket by Cathy Morley (illustrator). Signed by Owner.
