A tight, highly solid copy of this uncommon regional revivalist biography. The green cloth remains clean and vibrant with bright, crisp gold lettering on the front cover. The spine shows typical, gentle shelf wear with light rubbing at the head and foot, though the stamped spine text remains entirely legible. The corners are square with very minor rubbing at the tips. Internally, the binding is firm and securely bound. The pages are remarkably clean, bright, and free of foxing or text markings. Features two fascinating historical provenance inscriptions: an elegant vintage ownership signature on the front flyleaf from "Mrs. C. D. Carter, Shepherdstown, West Va.," and a second sweeping pencil inscription on the front pastedown from "F. M. Buckingham, 231 Pa Ave SE, Washington DC." A beautifully preserved, character-rich copy of early 20th-century American Holiness and tent-revival history.…
