Patrick Macrory served with the British Army during World War II, first in France, then in North Africa, and then in the Middle East. His great-great-uncle was Major Eldred Pottinger, served in the Afgan War, and his story is memorably told here. 352 pages, 6" x 9". Dust jacket is price clipped, chip at the top left front corner, two tears on the back panel with creases adjacent to the tears. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Binding is tight and square. Mild edge wear at the heel of the spine. Corners are straight and not bumped. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. This is not a former library copy.
