Low education status of the population, poverty, drug resistance, comorbidities, Inadequate drugs are causes that lead to drug default in maximum patients. Drug resistance leads to chronicity and reasons were patient unawareness, long duration of treatment and financial problem of the patient, symptomatic relief by anti tubercular therapy, social stigma, poor drug supply all led to high drug resistance. Looking at all above causes RNTCP needs to strengthen program so that all cases of TB should complete treatment and make world TB Free. 92 pp. Englisch.

El bajo nivel educativo de la población, la pobreza, la resistencia a los fármacos, las comorbilidades y los fármacos inadecuados son las causas que conducen a la falta de medicamentos en la mayoría de los pacientes. La resistencia a los fármacos conduce a la cronicidad y las razones son el desconocimiento del paciente, la larga duración del tratamiento y los problemas financieros del paciente, el alivio sintomático mediante la terapia antituberculosa, el estigma social y el escaso suministro de medicamentos, todo lo cual conduce a una elevada resistencia a los fármacos. Teniendo en cuenta todas estas causas, el RNTCP debe reforzar el programa para que todos los casos de tuberculosis completen el tratamiento y se convierta en un mundo libre de tuberculosis. 96 pp. Spanisch.
