Travail artisanal qui parodie les relieurs friands d'effets. Mouillure au coin inférieur droit du premier plat. Quelques petites tâches à l'intérieur. Ensemble en bon ét…at. Au 19ème siècle on disait « un Dumanet » pour désigner un soldat fanfaron et ridicule, personnage imaginé par les frères Coignard dans l'un de leurs vaudevilles. On sait donc d'avance que le caporal, ignorant et hâbleur, ne dira que des sottises. Ce que l'on ne sait pas, c'est que l'auteur anonyme de ce petit divertissement va consacrer les neuf premières pages à ridiculiser Jules Janin, tout-puissant critique dramatique du « Journal des Débats », le quotidien parisien qui en 1835 tirait à 13.000 exemplaires, deuxième plus fort tirage de l'époque. Usant de tous les ressorts rhétoriques et comiques, l'auteur a du beaucoup faire rire ses contemporains, aux dépends du « Prince des Critiques » mais aussi de Victor Hugo, dont les pièces « romantiques » sont régulièrement sifflées, malgré sa célébrité bien établie de romancier et poète. Hugo connaissait d'ailleurs certainement très bien Janin puisqu'il a séjourné fréquemment au Château des Roches, propriété des Bertin, à qui appartenait le « Journal des Débats » ceci explique peut-être cela. Ce petit opuscule attachant trouvera sa place chez tous les amateurs de Victor Hugo, de pastiches et, pourquoi pas, de Jules Janin.

Flesh Gordon est un film…américain de science-fiction parodique et érotique réalisé par Howard Ziehm et Michael Benveniste, sorti en 1974. C'est une parodie érotique du serial des années 1930 ayant pour héros le personnage de bande dessinée Flash Gordon, avec dans les rôles principaux : Jason Williams, Suzanne Fields, Candy Samples, etc. Le film classé X, fut remonté et amputé de certaines scènes pour obtenir d'être uniquement interdit aux moins de 17 ans. Il fut présenté en compétition au Festival international du film fantastique d'Avoriaz 1975. Rare et en superbe état.
