Add to basketLeather Bound. First Edition, First Printing. Unpaginated [pp. 129]. Oblong 8vo., measuring 9" x 6". Mimeographed leaves held with metal duo-tang style binding and housed in bright, orange limp leather covers. Title page features a faint photograph of the Church. Comprises of a rich selection of sweet, and savoury dishes (demarc…ated accordingly with colour dividers indicating the various sections) as compiled by the parishioners of Visitation of Our Lady (Slovak) Church (one of the few Winnipeg churches catering to the sizeable Winnipeg Slovak community having been founded in 1952 and led by the V. Rev. Msgr. John Rekem [1917-1983]) with most noting the corresponding contributor (chiefly women). No flaws to the leather extremities, unobtrusive handwritten recipes to the verso of some pages (entirely unaffecting the legibility of the text), else, very good. Rare to be offered in commerce. Unrecorded in OCLC. Not found in Peel, BAC/LAC, University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections, McGill, Guelph, et al. Rare indeed.
