Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. This book is for the times in our lives when we are lost for words to help. Within the book are passages to soothe, heal or reassure those we love and care for. The passages are designed to be read aloud; each chapter is a relaxing guided imagery which will inspire, transform, and comfort. The chapters each take a visual journey to somewhere pleasant whilst at the same time giving subtle motivational messages embedded in each sentence. This book is useful to help people suffering from difficult feelings such as anxiety, lack of confidence, ill health, grief, terminal diagnoses, and other unwanted elements that can become a hindrance to lifestyle. The book has simple explanations of how to read the passages so they are effective when listened to. There's also a brief scientific and neurological account of what happens to our emotions when we listen to effective guided imagery passages. During her career Eileen has been a psychotherapist, she's trained therapists, and written therapeutic articles and courses. Here she has written down her techniques with a wish to share the approach with others. It's easy to do once you get the hang of it, and the words are already there for you so you don't have to think about what to say next. This item is printed on demand.
