Housed in a custom three-flap card portfolio, enclosed within a full li…ght brown calf binding, gilt-lettered and tooled, with gilt-stamped floral turn-ins. A well-preserved and attractively presented set of Thomas Onwhyn's illustrations for Dickens's cheap edition of The Pickwick Papers. These images, although created contemporaneously, were not published at the time and make their first appearance in this format. A nicely preserved and presented copy.
