Many factors ranging from socio cultural to lack of political will by the government of President Yoweri Museveni and the rebels of the Lords Resistance Army led by Joseph Kony were identified as the main reasons for the continuation of the conflict.At a regional level,the role of Sudan as an actor in the conflict also poised a challenge in resolving the conflict. The book concludes by calling upon the involvement of international community as well as other stakeholders in mediating in the conflict.
