Poza fotografiami wydawal pocztowki z ziemi klodzkiej, Karkonoszy i Tatr. W 1902 przekazal atelier w Jeleniej Gorze synowi Hansowi (zaklad mial tez filie w Sobieszowie 1909-1910 i Szklarskiej Porebie latem 1888), ktory nadal sygnowal fotografie jaklo F. Pietschmann. W 1903 sprzedal zaklady w Kamiennej Gorze i Lubawce Feodorowi Böttcherowi i przeniosl sie do Görlitz na Krölstr. 15, gdzie prowadzil atelier oraz zalozyl wydawnictwo wydajace pocztowki powielajac swoje fotografie Slaska szczegolnie Karkonoszy. Za swoje fotografie wydane potem jako swiatlodruki w dziele pod redakcja Hansa Lutscha: Bilderwerk schlesischer Kunstdenkmäler w 1903 otrzymal panstwowy order i nagrode na wystawie w 1902 we Wroclawiu, wyrozniony byl tez za dzialalnosc na niwie ochrony zabytkow Slaska. Otrzymal liczne nagrody na wystawach fotograficznych od 1875, wspolzalozyciel Towarzystwa Slaskich Fotografow Zawodowych; zob.
