I am very pleased to offer a neat old copy in very good condition of Alfred Noyes Poems of the New World. This small hard cover book (5 ¾ x 8 ½ inches 134 pages) was published by J.B. Lippincott of Philadelphia and New York dated 1942 and the First Edition (so stated). It is bound in blue cloth with paste-down black title panels on cover & spine. There is an Introduction by Viscount Halifax the then Ambassador of Great Britain to the United States of America. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are dust-dulled and lightly bumped. The title panels are still bright and handsome. Inside the book is unmarked (except for what appears to be a bookstore price stamped on the rear endpaper) but there is some darkening to the endpapers doubtless from the acids of the binding glues. The interior pages are clean and bright but slightly toned. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
