A Hardback in Very Good condition. Publisher's original dark green boards with lettering in still bright gilt to spine. Notwithstanding a lean to the spine, the spine remains firm. Bumping and softening to spine ends and corners. Some areas of wear and very small areas of scraping to boards. A very small scraped patch to top of page block. A small crease/dint at foot of front board. Minor foxing and very mild toning principally to endpapers, otherwise pages basically clean and unmarked. The page block is deckled and some page edges are uneven on the long side of the page block, possibly due to having been cut open at time of first reading of book. There is dust toning to this edge of the page block and to the top edge. Overall this is a nicely presented First thus Edition copy of a Very Scarce book in Very Good condition.
