The exterior shows toning and scuffing, spotting and soiling. There is an old price sticker in the upper left corner of the rear wrap and tape is present on the hinges. The edges and corners show bumps/wear…along with some creasing and small tears that measure less than one half of an inch. The old scotch tape reinforcing was also done on every page section. Just like on the exterior the tape is become old and brittle and dark yellow with age. The interior pages are also toned due to age along with some light soiling. The exterior shows toning with some spotting present. The top of the front wrap shows a 1948 gift inscription along with a small faded spot. There is also a small tear, measuring about 1/2…inch on the right side near the rabbit's ear. The internal binding is good and all (unnumbered) pages are attached. Pages are toned due to age but only have minor age spots. There is a small fractional tear on one of the pages which contains the verse for the Pussy-Cat Mole and another on page about Goosey Goosey Gander - both the of these tears are under 1/2 inch in closer to 1/4.
