The cost of implementation of these automation systems are very high and also leads to more maintenance work. These problems can be eliminated by introducing wireless based Industrial Automation Systems (IAS).This research work presents the impact of adapting sleeping mechanisms in transmitting a physical variable from the industrial area to the controller present in the base station.
