Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - A Decade of excavations in Qubbet el-Hawa. The exhibition aims to transmit a vision committed to historical and archaeological heritage, its promotion, protection and dissemination, not only internationally but also locally, making the people of Aswan aware of what is being done in their own city, making them participants in the progress of the University of Jaén's project. This has been achieved, to a large extent, by involving the inhabitants of the village of Gharb Aswan in the development of the work carried out each campaign. As an indispensable complement to any exhibition, this catalogue is published, which contains a selection of the pieces exhibited in the Nubia Museum. It is structured in a chronological manner, which allows us to see, in a way, an evolution throughout the history of funerary customs in Egypt during the Pharaonic period. The catalogue also includes an introductory section that helps to contextualise the pieces on display.
