This book does much to redress the balance and to correct some faulty perspective of earlier books on New Zealand Church history. A unique feature of this book is the inclusion, as an Appendix, of the surviving portion of the Hadfield Journal, the only time any part of the Journal has apperared in print. Includes monochrome images, portrait on title page.
