La estructura es irregular a lo largo de la altura y posee irregularidad vertical. La estructura se considera en la zona sísmica V con un ratio de amortiguación (¿) del 5%. Los casos tomados aquí son una estructura irregular con un escalón en la planta 6 que tiene un soporte de base fija y se compara con la misma estructura irregular con un escalón en la planta 6 que tiene un aislamiento de base (LRB). El enfoque de análisis dinámico se utiliza para el estudio de la respuesta de la estructura y el diseño por RSA (Análisis de Espectro de Respuesta).
