Heske (1892-1963) war Forstwissenschaftler. Er gilt als Begründer einer "Weltforstwirtsch…aft" und entwickelte eine Philosophie der Organik. Jordan (1902-1980) war Physiker und Politiker. Er war maßgeblich an der Entwicklung der Theorien zur Quantenmechanik und deren mathematischen Formulierungen beteiligt. Nach dem Krieg saß er als rechtskonservativer Abgeordneter 1957-61 für die CDU im Bundestag. Meyer-Abich (1893-1971) war Philosoph, und Historiker der Naturwissenschaften. Er war einer der Begründer und Hauptvertreter des Holismus. Dies ist eine Ganzheitslehre, die die Vorstellung vertritt, daß natürliche und z. B. physikalische, biologische, soziale oder ökologische Systeme etc. und ihre Eigenschaften als Ganzes und nicht nur als Zusammensetzung ihrer Teile zu betrachten sind und aus dem Zusammenwirken ihrer Einzelteile auch nicht vollständig verstanden werden können.
