Unter seinen skurrilen Figuren sind aufstrebende Weltentdecker voller jugendlichem Idealismus, Dealer und Abhängige, die sich die eigene Sucht nicht eingestehen, desillusionierte Workaholics, denen die Idee von einem sinnvollen Dasein abhanden gekommen ist und von vielen anderen Verlierertypen. Georg Meier schreibt wie gewohnt temporeich und tiefgründig - Witzig, trocken, ironisch, spöttisch, gewohnt nachdenklich und wie immer herrlich politisch unkorrekt; des Öfteren scheint Charles Bukowski zu grüßen.
