Den nya stadsteatern var enligt denna plan tänkt att byggas på Mariaberget på Södermalm, strax väster om Södermalmstorg. Planen var en del av br…eddningen av Hornsgatan med dess tänkta rivandet av bl.a. 1600-talsbebyggelsen i kv. Överkikaren och övrig bebyggelse på Mariaberget. Det stora teaterhuset är ritat av Sven Markelius som här även kommenterar debatten kring den nya stadsteatern i Stockholm. Palle Granditzky (1923-2001) var vid tillfället chef för Uppsala stadsteater och bibliotekarien Uno Willers var sedan 1960 styrelseordförande i Stockholms stadsteater. Softcover / Paperback.
