Condition: Buono (Good). 8vo (mm. 250x160). Pp [4], 54. Agli impegni. Book.…

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the philosophical debate on free will, exploring its historical development and challenging established notions. The author argues that the traditional understanding of free will is incompatible with our current scientific understanding of the human mind and brain. Drawing on insights from philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience, the book presents a comprehensive critique of the idea that humans possess genuine freedom of choice. The author contends that our actions and decisions are largely determined by factors beyond our conscious control, such as our genetic makeup, upbringing, and social environment. Ultimately, the book challenges readers to confront the implications of this scientific determinism for our understanding of morality, responsibility, and personal identity. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
