Beffardo e disincantato, il romanzo si dipana su differenti dimensioni temporali, senza mai confondere il lettore ma seminando sapientemente, tracce ed enigmi che riaffiorano dalla terra a cui, perfino Tino, anti-eroe per eccellenza, non può sottrarsi. Ed ecco che il mistero della Rocca di Lerma, gli inquietanti infernot e quel pane rovesciato che, si dice, venisse dato al boia dopo che aveva compiuto il suo crudele lavoro, diventano parte integrante degli avvenimenti che, con un ritmo sempre più serrato, coinvolgono il lettore spingendolo nel cuore stesso del mistero dove gli occhi del buio non sono che una lancia avvelenata, puntata al cuore dellignaro che osa avventurarsi in quelle gole. Storia coinvolgente che affascina fin dalle prime battute, svelando -senza mai anticipare- enigmi e segreti di una terra silenziosa e severa.…
