Good bold signature. Reads: 'It was so very kind of you to think of me on Saturday. The play has had a perfectly lovely reception so, now the first nig…ht is over, we shall be able really to enjoy ourselves!' The play she is referring to is Robert Nesbitt's 'The Glorious Days', which had a run of 476 performances at the Palace Theatre, and which was made into the 1954 film 'Lilacs in the Spring', in which she starred with Errol Flynn.
